LLC «NPC «TIFARM» is engaged in the production of functional food products and dietary supplements. This is a joint venture with the Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after G.B. Elyakov (TIBOCH FEB RAS), one of the leading scientific institutions in the Russian Far East.

The objects of research at the Institute are marine organisms (including microorganisms) and unique flora of the Far East, attracting attention as sources of new natural compounds with unusual chemical structures and high biological activity.

The Institute conducts searches for new producers of biologically active metabolites, isolation, determination of the chemical structure of various natural substances, study of their chemical properties, and physiological activity. The research results, combined with modern raw material processing technologies at the Institute's pilot production, are used to create new medicines, medical diagnostics, and dietary supplements.

The Institute has created about two dozen scientific and technical developments, most of which have been implemented and are used at various enterprises. It is possible to develop a food product/dietary supplement to order if LLC «NPC «Tifarm» does not produce the requested product. In 2020, supplies of syrups with sea urchin and sea cucumber extracts to China began.
